Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Upwell Health Centre, PE14 9BT)

Full- time /Part- time

Wage – dependent on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our patient focused and friendly practice team. We are a very supportive team committed to providing high quality patient care with a strong ethos on team working and integrated care.  We are also fortunate to be an active part of the proactive Fens & Brecks ICB.

You will be part of a team of 5 GPs with full clinical support from a Physicians Associate, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Manager and her team, a Specialist LTC Nurse as well as an experienced administration and management team.  We are a GP training practice that puts patient care first and endeavours for continuous improvement.  

You will need to be a degree qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical skills and expertise to work autonomously to help provide ongoing clinical care and manage acute demand. You must have relevant experience and an independent nurse prescriber enabling you to independently assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients as appropriate. You will manage your own patient booked list on a daily basis, as well as taking on specific responsibilities in other areas of the practice.

You will be able to work within our team in a supportive way and be a force for positive change within the practice.

There are also opportunities for personal and educational development and research studies.

We are flexible around the hours worked. We are a PMS practice delivery services to 10900 patients in a rural setting. We are a friendly, growing, supportive and dynamic practice where staff support and patient care come first.
